Beginner Ukulele Series

Have you always wanted to play the Ukulele, but didn't quite know where to start? Or maybe you bought a Ukulele and now wish you could find someone who can help guide you in person on your Ukulele journey? Then the Beginner Series is for you!

The three classes in this series build upon one another to help hone your Ukulele playing skills. Students are welcome to take just the first class, or proceed onto the more advanced classes if desired. Learning to play the Ukulele is as easy as 1-2-3!

Ukulele Songs for Beginners

This 5-week class will teach some classic ukulele songs as well as some unexpected gems. Strumming and new chords will be taught from a wide array of sources. This is a perfect follow up to the absolUKE Beginners class and for those who would like to play some fun and simple songs. Songs include: Classic Texas Western Swing, a Duke Ellington tune, and much more.
The Advancing Beginner

This course is designed for students who have completed absolUKE Beginners and Ukulele Songs for Beginners. Think of it as the third phase of beginner learning. We will work on honing practicing, strumming, scales, learning more chords, more songs, playing as an ensemble, and some cool "riffs".
