Practical Music Theory for Ukulele 4/16, 4/23 & 4/30 Many adult learners find music theory to be highly confusing and difficult to apply. We are going to connect these abstract ideas to the ukulele and use them to help improve our knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of music! Topics will include the Circle of 5ths, Harmonizing the Major Scale, and using numbers to understand musical patterns. $95

Saturday Intermediate/Advanced 2:30-4pm Song Mastery 2/1, 2/15 & 2/29 This novel approach to learning songs will help you to tailor-fit a song to your skill level while also sharpening your skills. Whether you strum and sing, finger pick, play solo or in a group, this series will help you to develop a positive outlook toward the art and science of practicing music while honing 2 pieces for performance. I will provide the first piece of music at 3 different levels (beginner/intermediate & advanced) and students will bring their own music for the 2nd and third classes. $95

Playing Without Paper 4/11, 4/18 & 4/25 Music is a sonic art form, yet, we use our eyes to help us make many of our musical sounds. For some, letting go of the visual aspect of music is a big challenge. In this workshop series, we will gain the requisite skills to use our intelligence, intuition, prior knowledge and skills to allow our eyes to relax and our ears to awaken! I will provide a safe and supportive atmosphere for learning, just bring a bit of courage and curiosity. $95
